Macro Artificial Intelligence

AI did not really change in its entirety, but I went through some refactoring to make it compatible with the Game Master.

Stuck to sole

This feature was highly requested. Now, when Talas steps on a micro, it is possible that the micro stays stuck to Talas’ sole.

Micros stuck to sole

For VR players, it will be possible to disable this feature or to make Cobble’s body visible, in a third person view, to reduce the effects of motion sickness.

Stuck in sole in VR:

The dirtier Talas’ soles are, the higher the chances of getting stuck to them. The Game Master will be able to control the frequency of being solestuck in the game’s options.

There is still a couple animations to fix and a couple others to add depending on the context, for example, when Cobble is visible, squished between a sole and a glass panel.

It will be possible to struggle free with a simple Quick Time Event, but this shall be developed later, as well as a feature to control Cobble’s arms.

Grab in hand

I made some progress on the Grab system. Talas will be able to physically grab a micro and carry it wherever he desires.

GrabIn Talas Hand

Grab in hand:

For the time being, Talas simply will grab a micro whenever it is at a certain height before dropping it at points of interests.

The current system is already well settled. I will need to create new animations for the different scenarios, such as opening doors with a micro in hand. Maybe dropping said micro in his beak if he is hungry, or in his shoes if he wants a brand new comfy sole… *wink wink*

Other

I have been away for 15 days and was unable to do as much as I usually do. Thus, I chose to focus on only two specific things so far : features linked to my scenario / situation system.

There is a lot of code that makes sure that everything works all together, and now that I have strong, solid bases for version 0.4, I will be able to put everything together.
